R3D Scholarship at University of Sherbrooke

On Wednesday 29 October, the excellence of the student community of the Faculty of Science was honored. The Faculty and the Foundation of the University of Sherbrooke have indeed awarded 102 scholarships to budding scientists.

R3D  was also present – in fact, it is with great pride that the first R3D Scholarship (worth $2000) was awarded to a doctoral student of the Computer Science Department of the Faculty of Sciences University of Sherbrooke.

In total, a record sum of $ 122,500 was given to students in biochemistry health, biology, chemistry, computer science, mathematics and physics. The recipients were recognized for their academic performance, perseverance and commitment.

Professor Serge Jandl, Dean of the Faculty of Science, highlighted the outstanding achievements of student reports: “On this day we celebrate the support to our young scientists committed under the seal of excellence in their studies:  studies that reflect quality training in rigorous and demanding disciplines”.
